Our Purpose
To ensure all people in New Plymouth have access to food when they need it. To collect, store and distribute food, essential household items and other resources to people in need within our local community.
New Plymouth Community Foodbank provides food parcels to members of the community who are struggling with day to day living costs.
Anyone can request support— you do not need to be getting a benefit.
New Plymouth Community Foodbank is committed to providing food support to the wider New Plymouth community.

We offer a helping hand up, not a hand out and service New Plymouth, Bell Block and surrounding areas.
New Plymouth Community Foodbank is a registered charity that operates independently and is not affiliated to any church or religious group, government department, wholesale food provider or national organization.
Donations of food are received in good faith from donors and stored under standard New Zealand accepted food safety guidelines.
